because at least i learned something
this is one thing that i learned about my family and my experiences with them " that no matter how far are we from each other, that no matter how long we dont see each other and NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS AND NO MATTER WHAT WE BECOME love will always exist..
i was 10 when my mom died and later have to live without my dad and few years after that without my sister.. i basically live by myself dont see my family that often...and yet i made it sure that i made them feel secure of my love for them the same that they are doing for me..
i sometimes sulk spending christmases at other family, knowing that we wouldnt celebrate together anyway.. i just felt insecure how other families could consistently spend christmases or birthdays or any other occasions together even when they grow older bring their kids.. mga ganon ba.. but then...
i was told that i should feel lucky having learned that lesson at an early age...well it was a lesson learned the hard way.. very hard actually.. nevertheless it is still a lesson that is very much worth keeping.. and besides i know that lesson will be learned by everyone.. EVERYONE.. lucky for me. i learned it in an early age that keas naman sa iba na maybe they learn it when they are 70 yrs old, dying and nobody's there for them..because they never learn to appreciate..
losing a loved one taught me to appreciate other people and take note of the time ive spent with them cause ill never know when will be the next or baka wala na ngang next diba?its just sad that it is i who know that and yet i have to be surounded with people who dont know..
